If you're going to buy a house, apartment, or land in Yucatán, it's not enough for the seller to have a deed. A property in order means that:
It has no liens or debts.
It is registered with the Public Registry of Property.
If it's a new development, you should verify if the company exists.
Is the property in the company's name or someone else's?
Does the development have the necessary permits for land subdivision, construction, etc.?
